“A warrior cannot complain or regret anything. His life is an endless challenge, and challenges cannot possibly be good or bad. Challenges are simply challenges … a warrior takes everything as a challenge while an ordinary man takes everything as either a blessing or a curse.”
During one of my first sessions with Shahar, more then two years ago, we were working in his mother’s apartment (!) and he played a CD called “From the Green Hill” by Tomasz Stanko. It just came to me as I was searching for something to listen to. This music is etched in me due to the powerful context of the work in which I encountered it. Here is live set with Tomasz Stanko (the trumpet player).
My only problem with this clip it that it is too short and ends abruptly.
